The Sacramento Historic City Cemetery will start selling their Lantern Tour tickets on Sep. 13. They typically sell out within a week, so hurry to take advantage of this spooky fund-raising opportunity!
The Lantern Tours will be held Oct. 22, Oct. 23, Oct. 29 and Oct. 30. The tours are the primary fund-raiser for the cemetery which has suffered severe budget cuts and relies heavily on volunteers and "gravely needed" donations.
Bring a flashlight (and brave face) and experience costumed docents telling stories of historic and notable cemetery residents by lantern light. You'll be led into the deep and dark of the cemetery.
